Let's talk about restrictive diets. While their main aim is to improve health, they can actually be quite harmful, both psychologically and physiologically. These diets can lead to body insecurities, emotional dependence on food, a slowed metabolism, and in some cases, even eating disorders. 

 

While calorie counting can be a helpful tool for weight management, not all calories are equal regarding their impact on your health. Yo-Yo dieting severely slows down your metabolism, and once you get bored or even change your diet a little bit, you end up putting on more weight than before.
